Have just downloaded the new skype app for the iphone but already I am having issues with it. Manged to set it up and test the voice quality to the test account and it seems ok. It is a bit dissapointing that you cant make calls while on 3G but its a free app so cant really complain too much!

However the problems started when to connect with one of my contacts, as soon as I select a contact from the list it immediately crashes and closes the app, so its pretty much useless for the moment.

Hopefully there will be more discussion about this over the next few days and some fixes for these early issues.

UPDATE: This issue was resolved by reinstalling the app. Obviously this is an annoying issue. My phone us standard and has not been hacked in anyway.
