I take canvases out into everyday life and combine painting and performance art. I document the everyday moment as I go, through writing and drawing from left to right on the canvas. I take canvases around for whole days, down canals on open kayaks, up trees, in shop windows, and I have also developed them into rafts.

I am interested in the restrictions each performance brings and how these restrictions affect the mark making of my writing and drawing. This adds an element of chance into my work, which changes through out each performance. I also push myself physically within my performances with the idea that this will develop the excitement within the performance and push my work further.
